According to Asialaw Profiles 2018, Sayat Zholshy & Partners is one of the Outstanding Law Firms in Kazakhstan

On 13 November 2017, Asialaw Profiles, one of the most authoritative legal directories, published the 2018 guide to the leading Kazakhstan law firms based on its extensive research results.

Our Firm was rated by the ALP experts as an outstanding Kazakhstan law firm for such areas of practice as Competition & Antitrust and Dispute Resolution & Litigation, as a highly recommended firm for Corporate/M&A, Energy & Natural Resources, Labour & Employment and Restructuring & Insolvency, and as a recommended firm for Banking & Finance, Intellectual Property and Projects & Infrastructure.

For several years, Managing Partner Vitaliy Vodolazkin, who leads the Dispute Resolution & Litigation practice, received the highest ranking of the Market-leading Lawyer proving his professionalism in the area.  In their feedback to the 2018 Asialaw Profiles survey our clients stated that our firm “has a very strong and professional legal team on the issues related to litigation in Kazakhstan” and that “the firm provides top of the line services”.

Partner Arman Berdalin was duly appreciated by ALP and once again included into the list of the Leading Lawyers in the Corporate/M&A practice.  According to clients, the Corporate/M&A team lead by Arman “works efficiently, quickly and securely”.

Partner Amir Begdesenov was ranked as the Rising Star Lawyer in two areas of practice overseen by him – Competition & Antitrust and Intellectual Property.  According to a partner at a rival firm, “the firm is famous for this practice”.  “I have been extremely impressed by the quality of work of this firm. The IP team is extremely responsive and knowledgeable and I could not fault their performance,” says a client.

It is worth noting that Sayat Zholshy & Partners is the only law firm on the Kazakhstan market of legal services whose Competition & Antitrust practice was ranked as outstanding and Restructuring & Insolvency as highly recommended.

Asialaw Profiles 2018 is the 22nd annual edition of a publication which reports on the leading law firms in the Asia-Pacific region.  There is no charge for being part of the research process.  The rankings are based on the quality of the completed practice area survey, the type of work handled by the firm and market feedback conducted during the research process.
